Slow Cooker French Dip

recipe adapted from this

INGREDIENTS: (makes 2 sandwiches)
2-3 lb Beef Roast (Rump, Sirlion, Shoulder etc. Mine fit in a 3qt slow cooker)
1 can beef broth
1 can beef consomme
1 can condensed French onion soup
1 packet onion soup mix
desired beef seasoning
French baguettes
8 slices provelone cheese
(optional) garlic spread

DIRECTIONS:
Trim fat from the beef, and rub with some seasoning.
Place beef in slow cooker, pour mixture of the soups & onion soup mix over it.
Cook on low 7-8 hours, or high 3-4 hours. Cut into slices. Reserve the au jus.

Preheat oven/broiler.
Assemble sandwiches and broil for 1-2 min, till cheese is melted.
Serve with the au jus from the slow cooker.

*update* using the homemade french bread  was 1000x better! I brushed a garlic spread on the bread when I assembled the sandwiches.
