INGREDIENTS
2 sticks oleo (or margarine)
4 squares Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 t butter flavoring
1 1/2c chopped nuts (I use pecans)
1 c unsifted flour
1 3/4 c sugar
4 extra large eggs
1 t vanilla
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven 325F.
Melt oleo and semi-sweet chocolate in pan.
Add butter flavoring and chopped nuts.
In a bowl mix with spoon: flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla.
Stir in the chocolate mixture and mix with spoon (don't over-mix).
Spoon mixture into muffin papers in muffin tin.
Bake for 35-38min.
Note: these are supposed to have a crackeled looking top on them. We have tried using real butter instead of butter flavoring, and they didn't taste the same. Use butter flavoring!
